Application Process

Who is eligible to apply?
The program is open to rising juniors and rising seniors in high school. Applicants must be ready to engage in college-level coursework and travel internationally.

How do I apply?
Applications open January 26, 2026. You'll complete a two-step process:

Step 1: Application

  • Pay the $300 non-refundable application fee
  • Submit an unofficial transcript (PDF or image)
  • Respond to essay prompts (up to 1,000 total words)
  • Provide passport status information

Step 2: Registration (by invitation after acceptance)

  • Pay a $2,000 deposit by April 1, 2026
  • Submit your travel packet with a passport scan by May 15th, 2026
  • Complete agreements and consent forms with guardian's e-signature

What are the application deadlines?
We use rolling admissions with priority given to early submissions. Specific priority and final deadlines will be posted when applications open.

What does the application require?
You'll need to provide basic contact information, academic details, an unofficial transcript, and an essay (maximum 1000 words total). Parents or guardians must also provide their information and consent for applicants under 18.

Is there an application fee?
Yes, there is a $300 non-refundable application fee is required upon completion of your application. This is a one-time holistic fee. 

Can I save my application and return to it later?
Yes, you can save your progress and complete the application over time.

What if my recommender submits late?
Applications must be submitted by the deadline. 

Program Details

Where does the program take place?
The Odyssey Immersion Program includes global travel to London, UK, along with immersive coursework.

How long is the program?
The program is three weeks long.

Is this a credit-bearing program?
Yes, this is a college-level, credit-bearing program through Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ÊÓÆµ. Participants must attend all classes and complete all assignments. Please note that credit is awarded by Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ÊÓÆµ and may not transfer to other institutions.

Is the program residential?
Yes, the program is residential with supervision throughout, including during travel.

Do I need prior international travel experience?
No, prior international experience is not required. We provide comprehensive orientation and on-site support throughout the program.

Cost & Payment

Can I use a 529 plan to pay for the program?
Yes, participants can withdraw from their 529 plan to cover the cost of an Odyssey course.

What is the payment schedule?

  • At application submission: $300 non-refundable application fee
  • Reduced Cost Deposit Deadline: March 15, 2025
  • April 1, 2026 (if accepted): $2,000 deposit due.
  • Payment 2 (if accepted): due by May 15, 2026
  • Payment 3 (if accepted): due by June 15, 2026

All payments are processed through CashNet.

What are the general payment policies?

  • The single $300 application fee is non-refundable
  • Full tuition must be paid by April 1, 2026

Failure to meet the payment deadlines may result in loss of your course seat or cancellation of registration

What is the refund policy?

If Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ÊÓÆµ cancels the program:
If Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ÊÓÆµ cancels an Odyssey Immersion Program course due to low enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances, you'll receive a refund of program fees in the original form of payment, minus the $300 non-refundable application fee.

If you withdraw from the program:

  • If registration is cancelled by May 1st, you are eligible to receive a full refund, excluding the application fee and administrative fees, which are non-refundable
  • 15 or more calendar days before the program start date: You're eligible for a partial refund of program fees, excluding the application fee and administrative fees, which are non-refundable
  • Within 14 calendar days of the program start date: No refunds will be issued. All fees (including application fees, administrative fees, and any paid tuition) will be retained

What is your policy regarding behavioral dismissals? 

Program fees are non-refundable when a participant is dismissed for disciplinary reasons. The enrolling parent or legal guardian remains financially responsible for all pickup-related expenses.

Travel Requirements

Do I need a passport?
Yes, all participants must have a valid passport that remains valid through February 1, 2027 (at least 6 months beyond the program end date). A color scan or photo of your passport will be required during registration.

What if I don't have a passport yet?
You can indicate on the registration form that you will obtain one before the program starts. Make sure to apply early, as passport processing can take several weeks.

When are travel documents due?
Complete travel documents, including passport scans, are due by May 15, 2026.

What about visas?
Participants are responsible for obtaining any required travel documents, including visas if applicable. Program staff will provide guidance on visa requirements and the application process.

Is travel insurance required?
Yes, health and travel insurance are required for all participants. Upon receipt of registration and enrollment, the appropriate program staff will contact the parent/legal guardian of the participant to acquire necessary information.

Health & Accommodations

What if I have dietary restrictions or allergies?
You can indicate dietary restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, halal, kosher, gluten-free, etc.) and any food or allergies on the registration form. This information helps us provide a safe environment for all participants.

Can I receive accommodations?
Yes, we provide reasonable accommodations for dietary needs, academic accommodations, or accessibility accommodations. At registration, please select what kind of accommodations you need, and our program staff will contact you for additional information.

What if I have a medical condition or carry emergency medication?
You can provide this information on the registration form so our staff can ensure appropriate support. All health information is kept confidential and used only for program safety purposes. 

Preparation & Support

Will there be an orientation before the program?
Yes, all participants will attend a pre-departure orientation covering safety protocols, cultural preparation, the program itinerary, and our code of conduct.

What kind of support is available during the program?
Program staff will be available throughout your experience to address any health and safety concerns. We're committed to providing a supportive environment for all participants.

Parent/Guardian Information

What role do parents/guardians play?
For applicants under 18, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent, review all terms and conditions, and sign the registration form. They will also be the primary contact for program updates and communications.

What will parents/guardians be notified about?
Primary contacts receive all program communications, including itineraries, payment reminders, waivers, information sessions, and important updates from program staff.
