My interests include combinatorics, algebraic geometry, Galois theory, and mathematical physics. I've studied analogies between finite graphs and Riemann surfaces, chip-firing games on graphs, and role of symmetry in quantum mechanics.

My research interests include representation theory of Lie groups and Lie algebras, combinatorics, and applied algebra, but I am interested in all areas of math, physics, and science in general.

I am an anthropological archaeologist who is interested understanding human-environment interactions with a particular focus on how human behaviors and local ecologies influence inequality, dietary change, territoriality, cooperation, and related phenomena.
