Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ÊÓƵ

I am a native Appletonian and Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ÊÓƵ played a major role in my early musical development. Studying clarinet at the Community Music School, attending Conservatory concerts, and performing on the Memorial Chapel stage inspired me to pursue a career in music. I spent the last 20 years in Arizona, Washington, and Texas working as a music educator and music admissions professional. I am thrilled to return to Wisconsin to rejoin the amazing Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ÊÓƵ community.

What’s your favorite season on campus?

My favorite season on campus is fall. The trees across campus, especially along Main Hall Green, turn the most beautiful shades of red, orange, and gold. There’s this crisp energy in the air as the year kicks into gear, and you can feel the excitement of students settling into classes, performances starting up, and campus traditions bringing everyone together.

What’s your favorite spot on the Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ÊÓƵ campus?

My favorite spot on campus is the Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ÊÓƵ Memorial Chapel. It’s not just a beautiful and iconic building, it’s the heart of campus life, especially for those of us connected to the Conservatory. From powerful concerts to inspiring lectures and community gatherings, there’s always something meaningful happening there. The acoustics are incredible, the history is rich, and whether you’re performing on stage or sitting in the audience, you feel a part of something bigger. It’s a space that represents the creativity, tradition, and connection that make Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ÊÓƵ so special.
