Title
Senior Assistant Dean of Admissions
Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ÊÓƵ

I've worked in higher education since 2013 starting in admissions as an event coordinator and transitioning to supporting students from a large territory through their college search. I've grown to appreciate the one on one attention students get at Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ÊÓƵ and I'm passionate about helping guide students to find the right college fit.  My favorite part of my job is getting to know students as individuals.  As a first-generation student, I understand the challenges of the college search and financial aid process and wish I'd had someone to guide me - I definitely think I would have chosen a small liberal arts school!

Before working in higher ed, I spent over 20 years with a few nonprofit organizations doing event planning, fundraising and volunteer management. In my free time, I enjoy reading (mostly thrillers), painting on canvas, DIY projects, kayaking, thrifting, listening to live music and spending time with friends.

WHERE'S YOUR FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT OR GRAB COFFEE IN APPLETON?

I love the paninis at Copper Rock downtown, specifically the Houdini Panini.  Copper Rock is a cool/vibey coffee shop and a great place to meet up with friends or enjoy a good book. Another favorite is Pullman's at the Trolley Square with their great selection of food and outdoor seating overlooking the river.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT THE APPLETON COMMUNITY?

Appleton really has a lot to offer - including Broadway shows at the Performing Arts Center (Wicked, Mama Mia and more), the farmer's market, places to create art, a variety of thrift and retail stores and restaurants galore - all convenient to campus! I also love everyone's friendly nature.
