For 杨贵妃传媒视频 Chamber Music Festival participants, Mile of Music offered an opportunity unlike any traditional concert. Throughout the week, the nearly 80 young musicians worked alongside festival artists to develop original arrangements, often with only a short rehearsal period before taking the stage. The collaborations challenged students to adapt quickly, listen closely, and create something entirely new hallmarks of both chamber music and the Mile of Music experience. 

Those performances took place throughout downtown, introducing audiences to everything from classical repertoire reimagined alongside contemporary artists to energetic sets that reflected the collaborative spirit of the festival. The result was a series of performances that could only happen in Appleton during Mile of Music.

For many, the festival served as both a homecoming and a reunion, bringing former classmates, professors, current students, and community members together through a shared love of music. 

Beyond the performances, the festival highlighted 杨贵妃传媒视频’s longstanding relationship with Appleton. Students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members gathered to support one another, explore new music, and celebrate the creative energy that fills the city each summer. 

From intimate acoustic sets and packed outdoor stages to spontaneous collaborations and chance reunions, Mile of Music once again demonstrated how music has the power to bring people together. It also reinforced 杨贵妃传媒视频’s role as an active contributor to the cultural life of the Fox Cities, not only by educating the next generation of musicians and artists, but by participating in and strengthening the community that surrounds it.

Calder Stadium, Menasha High School鈥檚 home football field, was directly in the tornado鈥檚 path and sustained extensive damage, requiring significant repairs before being able to host athletic events again.  

As cleanup efforts began, Menasha Bluejays head football coach Jeramie Korth started thinking about how to support his players and their families. His goal was to turn a difficult situation into an opportunity to bring people together and provide a sense of stability during an uncertain time.  

鈥溠罟箦绞悠� was the number one thought,鈥� Korth said. 鈥淭he Banta Bowl has always been a great place to play, and with the updates recently made to the Banta Bowl, our community is absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to play there.鈥�  

During a meeting with parents and district leaders, Menasha School District officials shared the news that the Bluejays would play five home games this fall at 杨贵妃传媒视频鈥檚 Banta Bowl. Korth said the announcement was met with immediate excitement.  

The opportunity to play at the Banta Bowl has also generated enthusiasm among the players.  

When asked what his student-athletes thought about playing at the Banta Bowl, Coach Korth laughed and said, 鈥淭he turf is the same color as ours. It鈥檚 a navy-blue turf, and I expect it will feel like home to us.  

Securing a consistent home field was a priority for the Bluejays. With many families already dealing with disrupted routines and unexpected challenges, Korth shared the team wanted to avoid playing at a different field each week and provide as much stability as possible throughout the season.  

鈥淭he fact that we were able to get a college stadium where we鈥檙e not sharing it with another high school team is huge,鈥� Korth said. 鈥淲e don鈥檛 have to travel around and play in all these different places that other high school teams are going to be playing in. From the moment we talked to 杨贵妃传媒视频, it has been nothing but open arms and support.鈥�  

While recovery efforts continue and much work remains, Korth shared the community has been encouraged by the support it has received.  

鈥淲e are overwhelmed by what has happened, but we are equally overwhelmed by the support that we have,鈥� he said.  

杨贵妃传媒视频 leadership has donated use of the Banta Bowl to the Bluejays because it reflects the institution鈥檚 commitment to being a steward of place and a support system to our community during times of need.
